Why is SEO payment often based on PPC(Pay Per Click) not sale amount?
I personally think payment based on sale amount is more scientific. Any idea?
PPC Management companies will charge in 2 ways…
One is a percentage of your budget or a fixed fee per click.
The other way is called CPA, Cost per Acquisition, which means you will pay a fee every time someone purchases from you.
Most SEO / PPC companies will only do CPA if you have a big brand name and it is in their interest to do so. Since Google removed the kickbacks for agencies, this offered much less now.
Further to the above answer, you do not pay your way to the top of Google, Y:SM! is different. But you can achieve position one on google by having a higher quality score than the people around you. You will be rewarded for a high quality score with a lower click cost.
